I always hoped of riding a boat down the San Antonio River. 🚤 . . However, the weather was not cooperating during our only day in San Antonio. With low 50’s and wind at 20mph, I told my husband “nope I’m not riding one of those boats.” Those 3 brave people. 😂 . . Although cold and windy, it was still nice to see and walk down the river walk. It looked like it would be quite the hopping place in sunny weather. ☀️

ℝ𝕖𝕞𝕖𝕞𝕓𝕖𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝔸𝕝𝕒𝕞𝕠 . . We couldn’t not go see the Alamo on our Texas Roadtrip!! We opted for the free self tour, which suited us just fine. They were actually doing renovations to help preserve the Alamo while we were there, so there were several artifacts in another building. It was very neat to see this historic sight in person! . . . While in San Antonio we stayed at the @crocketthotel (peep the sign behind the Alamo) which was right across the street from the Alamo. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!! The staff was friendly, excellent service + happy hour at the bar, and the rooms were very clean and cozy! ⭐️ . . @officialalamo

~ ᴍᴀɢɴᴏʟɪᴀ ᴍᴀʀᴋᴇᴛ 𝕒𝕥 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕊𝕚𝕝𝕠𝕤 ~ . . . The Silos at Magnolia Market were built in 1950 as part of the Brazos Valley Cotton Oil Company. In 2014, well-known television stars Chip & Joanna Gaines purchased the mill to restore and repurpose the historic site. Today, these silos stand tall in downtown Waco, reminding the city of its cotton farming history. 🌱 . . . 🍩𝑩𝒊𝒈. 𝑭𝒂𝒕. 𝑫𝒐𝒏𝒖𝒕𝒔. 🍩 . That’s what you’ll find at @gourdoughspublichouse 😍 . . This place was recommended to me by a fellow blogger for a place to go while in Austin, but when in Austin we didn’t make it. While walking down the riverwalk in San Antonio, on a hunt for dessert/ice cream we stumbled upon it and I was SO excited! 👏 I told John we had to go check it out. . . Holy Moly their donuts are DELICIOUS! 😋 They have donut sandwiches, burger donuts, and even coffee cocktails. This is the perfect place for brunch, lunch, dinner, or even dessert! 🍴 . . I had the Nutty Valentine which was covered in Nutella and strawberries 🍓, and John had a Thai in the Sky coffee cocktail. ☕️ . .
